payment

Payment is due at each appointment. Cash or Checks are preferable, but all major credit cards are accepted as well.

arrival

Please arrive for your onsite massage appointment 5 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. This allows for the a relaxed experience. Please note:  The the Hyattsville location is a small massage studio and if the door is closed, please don’t knock.  There is likely a client finishing up with their appointment.

If late arrival is inevitable, your service(s) will be shortened in order to keep on schedule. No full or partial refunds will be given.

cancellations

Please cancel your appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled time. This allows for other clients the opportunity to use this time.  Charges for the appointment will be at the discretion of Intuition Bodywork & Massage and only with proper, advanced notification.

no shows

An attempt will be made to contact the you and Ian will remain at the appointment location for 15 minutes. After the 15-minute wait time, the appointment will be considered a “no show” and you will be charged the full fee for the service scheduled and will be asked to pre-pay for future services.  

treatment plans

Prior to each massage session, the treatment plan will be discussed with you. At any point during the treatment, you can (and should!) request any modification of the therapy session.  Adjustments in pressure, temperature, music, areas of focus, or moving on from an area will be accommodated according to client requests.  Any discussion between massage therapist and the client is confidential. You may choose to talk or not during the massage. The goal is to provide you with the best therapeutic experience possible.
